| We have a uniprice policy for both public and private sector patients. Clients from the different funding streams all get the same standard of examination and treatment at the clinic. By sharing the resources of both sectors, we are able to provide up to date equipment and processes for all. We work paperless, using Ophthalmic Management Software developed by our ophthalmologist Mr. Mike Mair, with the New Zealand Software Corporation  (www.nzsoft.co.nz). The information technology helps us work efficiently, and enables us to quality assure our work with on going audits, and ready access to information. Our clinic was successful in gaining accreditation with SGS and our quality assurance work is on-going. We were also successful in credentialling with Health South Canterbury, our local DHB. We have a continuing education program for clinic staff. |
